First birthdays are often graced by close relatives and you might have more adults than kids at the party. When I celebrated my son’s first birthday party, I wanted the proud Grandparents and Uncles and Aunts to have a keepsake of the memorable day.
Here is what I finally decided upon:
Teddy bears, cute as the birthday boy himself – wearing custom embroidered T-Shirts
Since this was for a boy’s first birthday, I got blue T-shirts custom embroidered with the Name and Date with a cute balloon motif. Teddy shirts are available in different sizes to fit any teddy bear. Wholesale or Dollar Store Teddy bears are cute enough and look cuter when they wear these.
Just wrap them in cellophane and tie the top gathers with a ribbon and you are done.
One mistake I made that I would like to warn you from doing, is to place these favors alongside others on the favor table. Your little guests will have their hopes high that these are for them!
The Etsy seller who embroidered the shirts does not do them anymore, but you will find plenty of options for custom embroidered Teddy T-shirts online.
Grandparents will cherish these and keep them as loving reminders of their grandchildren.
