Paper Plate Ladybugs
Children will have fun making their own paper plate ladybugs and
they can also be used as decorations to cheer up the party scene!

You will need:
-
Party Plates
-
Red Acrylic Paint
-
Thick Paint Brush
-
A circle punch
-
Black paper scraps
-
White paper scraps
-
Red Chenille Sticks
-
Glue
-
Black cardstock or other thick paper
1. Paint the paper plates red. Allow to dry.
2. Punch out black circles and glue them all over the red plates.
3. Cut a circle from the heavy-weight black paper and glue
partially on the backside of the paper plate to make the head.
4. Punch out two white circles and glue them to form the eyes.
5. Cut a chenille stick into half, bend it from the center and
glue the center at the tip of the black circle to make the
antennae.
Tip: For young guests, have the circles ready to glue if they
are unable to use the punch. Encourage moms accompanying younger
guests to help out with their child's creation.
You can also use glue dots and glue these ladybugs on a wall
for a cute birthday party decoration.
